The heavy duty grating is used in areas where heavy static or rolling loads are encountered including heavy vehicular truck traffic up to H-20 loading. Welded carbon steel is the most popular choice where high strength is required and is available using # 304 or # 316 stainless steel. The main bars are slotted and assembled with cross bars which are welded with one fillet weld at every joint. Stainless steel can also be provided for those high corrosive applications. To round out our heavy duty line the grating offers our heavy duty riveted product which is the oldest grating product on the market and continues to be popular with the engineering community.
